Heather Woodbury’s AS THE GLOBE WARMS

As the Globe Warms is a novel-sized live performance work and podcast by award-winning serial performer Heather Woodbury. The pop American answer to the Pope’s encyclical on climate change, it’s about how the fight over one small frog in one small town collides with the world wide web and the web of life itself. The serial dramady connects the dots between climate crisis, America’s religious-secular divide and the near extinction of many species, including the middle class.
New episodes of the 12-episode podcast have been posted weekly since October on #VisionLAFest social media. The last 3 episodes will be posted during the two weeks of the festival– so stay tuned for the hilarious and touching wrap up to this epic podcast event by an award-winning This American Life alumna Woodbury.
