L.A. MUDPEOPLE

November 30, 2015 @ 6:30 pm

The L.A. MUDPEOPLE may be glimpsed hanging out at the VisionLA Fest Gala Opening event on Nov. 30.  Avoiding anthropological research and correctness, the LA tribe evolved over a few years into a slow-moving, non-verbal curious tribe who often find what they need for clothing & ornamentation during walkabouts around town, our local deserts & mountains. LAMP find wonderful moments in the place most people by-pass, overlook or step thru. Each step, and space between the step, is ripe and rich. There is a connection between the homeless living on the edge of society and the MUDPEOPLE; however, the L.A. MUDPEOPLE are happy and in no need of hope.

The MUDPEOPLE just hang out, make discoveries as children, wherever they are: streets or clubs, city or in more natural settings.

The LAMP are an alternative to stress, goals, speed, consumption, violence, greed, fear, etc… They are transformational, accepting, and process. The only footprints they may leave would be mud or mud objects and the wonder that may be in the eyes of the beholder.
