This is a team project with Roberto L. Delgado (Lead Artist), Leo Limon, and Oscar Duardo. The team will create and distribute common 4″x4″ tiles fired with a silkscreened image of “H2O” in 4 to 6 basic fonts layered over a number of photosilkscreens of people, in about 30 unique designs. The people photos have been taken by Delgado over the past few years in Highland Park, Cypress Park, and Lincoln Heights. The dynamic works like a trading card, with people comparing what tiles they have with what others have collected. They compare, talk, and sometimes trade. The palm-size tiles will be collectible quality and will be distributed free of charge at different VisionLA Fest venues.
