Move the World is a youth performing group ages 9-19 that blends art with social change. They create unique dance pieces focus on a social and environmental messages , inspiring the audience to think and to act.
Consumed is a live dance piece that incorporates dance, a film backdrop, and aerials silks. Consumed challenges the audience and those performing to consider our habits around purchasing and consuming products in order to fit in and measure up. The lead character travels through his own process of avid youth consumerism, confronting his addiction, social status and arrives at a more thoughtful and sustainable place.
